Reservation Policies

Deposit Policy
Advance deposits are required on all reservations. All reservations require a deposit equal to 50% of the value of your stay for confirmation. The deposit guarantees the availability of your room for the entire period of your reservation and also that your stay with us will be for the entire period reserved.


Room Rates
All rates are based on double occupancy, per room, per night, and are subject to Vermont rooms tax (currently 9%). Additional guests may be added for an additional $50 per night.


Cancellation Policy
Except in cases where you have booked a non-refundable rate, if cancellation is made 10 or more days prior to arrival, you will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative charge. If you cancel within 10 days of arrival, you are responsible for the full cost of your reservation. We recommend you contact us if you need to cancel even if within 10 days from arrival, we will attempt to rebook your held accommodations and will refund you what we are able to rebook, less a $50 administrative charge. We cannot guarantee we can rebook your reservation, however.

We encourage all guests to consider purchasing travel insurance to protect their trip investment. Travel insurance can help cover unexpected losses due to medical issues, family emergencies, weather disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.


Arrivals
Check in time is 3:00 PM. Please inform our Guest Services team in advance if you require a late arrival after 10:00 PM.


Departures
Check out time is 11:00 AM.


Pet Policy

At Sun Lodge, we want you to feel welcome, including your whole family and your dog! Our Manchester, VT dog/pet friendly hotel can accommodate dogs from April through November. Our dog fee is $50 per dog per stay, regardless of the number of nights of your visit. If you’re planning on having your pet dog join you for your upcoming stay, you must make your reservation with us over the phone in advance. Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms, and the dog owners’ cellular phone is required to be on at all times. We have a list of pet grooming, pet sitting, and other services available in the area. Should you need it during your stay, we recommend you contact us in advance to provide recommendations.

  • We have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms, so we ask that you notify us ahead of your stay to ensure you receive one.
  • We can accommodate a maximum of two dogs per pet-friendly room.
  • Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms at any time! 
  • Please keep your dog/s on a leash at all times in the public areas inside the hotel, as well as around the exterior of our property.
  • Pets won’t be permitted in indoor dining areas, due to health code regulations.
  • We ask that if you walk your dog around the surrounding neighborhood that you clean up completely after your pet.
  • Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners, and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest’s pet.
  • Violation of this policy could result in fees due to damages or claims by any third parties disturbed by your pet.
  • The hotel reserves the right to charge a guest’s account commensurate with the cost of such damages.
  • To ensure the safety of other guests and staff, your dog must have all legally required core vaccinations.
