Room Rates
All rates for rooms with king beds are based on double occupancy. All rates for rooms with two double beds, Family rooms, and suites are based on quadruple occupancy. All rates are per room, per night, and are subject to Vermont lodging tax (currently 9%).
Deposit Policy
All room reservations require a deposit, and a valid credit card is required to secure a reservation; we cannot accept cash or check. Your deposit guarantees the availability of your room for the entire period of your reservation and also that your stay with us will be for the entire period reserved.
Refundable rates: 50% of your total stay will be collected at time of booking on the payment method you provided at booking. The remaining 50% will be collected at check-in.
Non-refundable rates: 100% of your total stay will be collected at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Refundable rates: If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so 10+ days prior to arrival and you will be refunded in full less a $50 administrative fee. If you cancel within 10 days of arrival, we will retain your deposit.
Non-refundable rates: Non-refundable rates cannot be changed or cancelled for any reason. We encourage all guests to consider purchasing travel insurance to protect their trip investment. Travel insurance can help cover unexpected losses due to medical issues, family emergencies, weather disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Arrivals
Check in time is 3:00 PM. Please contact our front desk in advance if you require an arrival after 10:00 PM. On request, we can accommodate an early check-in for an additional $50 fee, please contact our front desk.
Departures
Check out time is 11:00 AM. On request, we can accommodate a late check-out for an additional $50 fee, please contact our front desk.
Pet Policy
At Sun Lodge, we want the whole family to feel welcome and can accommodate dogs from April through November in our Trailside rooms. Our dog fee is $50 per dog, per stay, regardless of the number of nights of your visit. If you’re planning on having your pet dog join you for your upcoming stay between April and November, you must book a Trailside room and note on the check-out page whether you will be bringing one or two dogs. You can also make your pet-friendly reservation with us over the phone or by email in advance.
Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms at any time, and the dog owners’ cellular phone is required to be on at all times. We have a list of pet grooming, pet sitting, and other services available in the area. We recommend you contact us in advance to provide recommendations.
- We must know in advance that you are bringing your dog. We have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms and can only accommodate dogs in our Trailside rooms.
- We can accommodate a maximum of two dogs per pet-friendly room.
- Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms at any time!
- Please keep your dog/s on a leash at all times in the public areas inside the hotel, as well as around the exterior of our property.
- Pets won’t be permitted in indoor dining areas, due to health code regulations.
- We ask that if you walk your dog around the surrounding neighborhood that you clean up completely after your pet.
- Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
- Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners, and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest’s pet.
- Violation of this policy could result in fees due to damages or claims by any third parties disturbed by your pet.
- The hotel reserves the right to charge a guest’s account commensurate with the cost of such damages.
- To ensure the safety of other guests and staff, your dog must have all legally required core vaccinations.
